Earlier this week, Justin Bieber Tweeted that he was going to "ignore" the claim made by Mariah Yeater that he was the father of her three-month old son.
But the singer appeared this morning on Today and directly addressed the allegation for the first time, shooting it down in mostly convincing fashion.
"I'd just like to say, basically, that none of those allegations are true," Justin said during an appearance meant to promote his Christmas album. "I know that I'm going to be a target, but I'm never going to be a victim."
Yeater has sworn in court documents that a security guard led her to Bieber backstage, following an October 2010 concert in Los Angeles. They then had unprotected sex that lasted for 30 seconds in a bathroom.
"It's crazy," Bieber said on Today. "Every night after the show I go from the stage right to the car, so it's crazy that some people want to make such false allegations."
